Takstar SGC-200W Mono — UHF Wireless Lavalier Microphone System for Cameras and Interviews
Takstar SGC-200W Single-Channel (Mono) is a UHF wireless camera microphone system designed for recording one speaker using a DSLR or mirrorless camera, video camera, compatible audio recorder or mobile device.
The single-channel package includes one bodypack transmitter, one receiver and one omnidirectional condenser lavalier microphone.
It is a practical audio solution for journalists, camera operators, vloggers, educators and businesses producing professional video content.
Benefits of the Single-Channel Wireless System
Freedom of movement. UHF wireless transmission allows the presenter to move more naturally while the camera operator changes framing and shooting distance without a long microphone cable.
Close microphone placement. The lavalier microphone can be attached to the speaker's clothing. Placing the microphone closer to the voice helps capture intelligible speech even when the camera is positioned farther away.
50 frequency settings. The single-channel version offers 50 selectable frequency settings, providing flexibility when choosing a suitable operating frequency. Automatic transmitter-to-receiver matching simplifies setup.
Real-time headphone monitoring. A dedicated headphone output lets operators listen during recording and identify unwanted noise, unsuitable microphone placement or excessive signal levels.
Low-cut filtering. The low-frequency filter helps reduce rumble and other low-frequency interference. Correct microphone placement and wind protection remain important for outdoor recordings.
Applications in Video Production
Journalism and reporting. The SGC-200W Mono can capture a reporter's voice, individual interviews, commentary and on-camera presentations.
Video blogs and social media. The wireless lavalier setup is suitable for YouTube videos, product reviews, tutorials and presenter-led content.
Corporate communications. Businesses can record expert commentary, product demonstrations, training materials and promotional videos.
Education and online courses. A lavalier microphone keeps the instructor's hands free during demonstrations, lessons and practical training.
Documentary and location filming. Replaceable AA batteries are convenient when filming away from fixed power sources. Spare batteries can be prepared for extended production sessions.
Event coverage. The system can be used to record a single presenter, speaker or commentator at exhibitions, seminars and corporate events.
UHF Transmission and Audio Control
The Takstar SGC-200W uses UHF wireless transmission with automatic transmitter and receiver matching.
Under favorable open-area conditions, its operating distance can reach approximately 80 m. Actual range depends on obstacles, antenna positioning and local radio interference.
The omnidirectional condenser lavalier microphone captures sound from different directions. Proper placement helps reduce clothing noise and maintain consistent speech pickup.
The receiver provides a 3.5 mm audio output and a separate 3.5 mm headphone output, with recording-level and monitoring-volume adjustments.
