100V PA acoustic systems are professional solutions for distributed audio, background music, voice announcements and public address applications in commercial, public and industrial facilities.
A 100V distributed audio system allows multiple loudspeakers to be connected to a common audio line while maintaining practical power distribution over long cable runs. The loudspeakers operate together with a 100V PA amplifier and other public address equipment.

When selecting a 100V loudspeaker, consider its rated power on the 100V line, the number of speakers, mounting type, sensitivity, number of acoustic ways, driver size, frequency response, transformer configuration and environmental protection.
Ceiling and in-ceiling speakers are suitable for many indoor commercial spaces, while wall-mounted models provide flexible installation and directional coverage. Pendant speakers can be useful in rooms with high ceilings. Outdoor applications require an appropriate level of protection against moisture and dust.
Horn speakers are commonly used where high sensitivity, voice intelligibility and directional sound coverage are important, including industrial sites, warehouses and large outdoor areas.
The total power of the connected loudspeakers should be calculated when selecting the appropriate 100V PA amplifier.
If the equipment is intended to be part of a fire, emergency or evacuation voice alarm system, the specific components must be checked for the applicable requirements and certification of the particular installation. A standard 100V loudspeaker is not automatically a certified life-safety component.
