DSPPA MP120UB 120W — Compact Class D Digital Mixer Amplifier

DSPPA MP120UB is a compact 120W digital mixer amplifier with a Class D amplifier module, designed for professional audio installations in small and medium-sized facilities.

The unit combines a power amplifier and mixer section with built-in USB, FM and Bluetooth, making it suitable as a central device for background music, voice announcements and distributed audio.

MP120UB supports 70/100V constant-voltage speaker systems as well as 4–16Ω low-impedance configurations.

Class D — compact and efficient

The Class D amplifier architecture allows MP120UB to provide 120W output in a compact 1.5U format. The amplifier weighs approximately 3 kg.

This makes it convenient for installation in equipment racks, cabinets, technical rooms or other locations where space is limited.

Class D is particularly practical for installations where compact dimensions, efficiency and manageable power consumption are important.

USB, FM and Bluetooth

DSPPA MP120UB integrates USB, FM and Bluetooth audio sources. This can eliminate the need for a separate media player in many standard background music installations.

USB can be used for prepared audio content, FM for radio programming and Bluetooth for convenient wireless playback from a compatible smartphone, tablet or other mobile device.

This combination is useful in retail stores, cafés, restaurants, offices, classrooms, fitness facilities and other commercial spaces.

100V amplifier for distributed audio

The 70/100V output makes DSPPA MP120UB suitable for distributed public address systems. Multiple loudspeakers can be installed throughout different areas of a facility and connected to one central amplifier.

This architecture is useful for background music, information announcements, staff calls and general commercial audio distribution.

The 120W output should be selected according to the total connected loudspeaker load and the required system reserve.

Microphone and line inputs

MP120UB provides two microphone inputs, two AUX inputs and a line output. One microphone input is located on the front panel, while the second is provided on the rear panel with balanced XLR and phantom power according to the model configuration.

Individual microphone and AUX volume controls, together with bass and treble adjustment, allow the system to be adapted to the room and audio source.

Priority and EMC input

Priority functionality is important for distributed audio installations where a voice announcement needs to override background audio. DSPPA MP120UB includes an EMC input for emergency or priority signals.

The priority structure places EMC/MIC1 above AUX1/AUX2/MIC2. This allows priority announcements to take precedence over normal music playback.

For fire or evacuation voice alarm applications, the complete system, its components and the project configuration should be separately verified against the requirements and certifications applicable to the specific facility.
